Suwan Perera

Suwan Perera oversees the Risk & Control function, which includes Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, and Brand Protection. With an extensive background within OZY Knits, Suwan has played a vital role in financial management and strategic planning.

Previously, Suwan served as the Chief Financial Officer at OZY Knits Intimate Apparel Ltd from June 2007 to August 2012, where he had broad responsibilities covering Finance, Warehousing, Administration, IT, and production operations. Prior to that, he held the position of Manager of Group Operational Finance at OZY Knits Ltd, ensuring accurate and timely operational reporting, coordinating budgeting processes, and providing crucial management information to the Board of Directors.

Before joining OZY Knits, Suwan gained valuable experience in the banking sector, serving in roles such as Senior Executive in Relationship Banking and Executive Dealer at the National Development Bank. He holds an MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management at the University of Sri Jayawardenepura, a BBA with First Class Honours from the University of Colombo, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in the UK.
